Restorative? Yin? can't decide? you don't have to! In restorative yoga, postures are held longer (3-5 minutes each) with fewer cues encouraging your body and mind to slow down. Throughout these postures, your entire body is supported using a variety of props that will allow your muscles to feel protected, releasing their effort and offering them the opportunity to relax more deeply. For those who prefer to experience a deep stretch in their muscles throughout their practice, all props for this class are OPTIONAL allowing for the deep stretch benefits of a Yin yoga practice. Variations will be offered for all postures allowing you to choose the level of support that suits your preference.
