Someone once said, Leadership would be easy if it werent for the people. If you work with people you probably already know something is wrong. You might already be frustrated with 15-25% of the people you work with and you are bordering on anger. You are not alone. Research over the past 30 years confirms that only 21-30% of employees are engaged. This means only a small percentage actually care about you, the company, and the customers enough to put in extra effort. Other studies show trust levels between employees and leadership at historic lows. Why is this happening and what can we do?
In this 60 minute webinar the author and leadership consultant Wally Hauck, PhD begins to provide answers. Participants will learn (or re-learn):
Because we have been taught the wrong theory of leadership we are making things worse
The basics we can practice every day which will shift the responsibility to the people where it belongs
How and when to give feedback that helps and avoids defensiveness
Where to focus energy and resources in order to avoid problems in the future
